Plum tart

Plum tart

It can be made with apricots, cherries, plums. A round tray with a diameter of 24-26cm is used.

  • For the dough:
  • 300 g flour
  • 100 g cold butter
  • 80 -100 g of sugar
  • 1 or
  • a knife tip salt
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • baking powder
  • For the filling:
  • 800 g plums
  • 4-10 lg sugar (I put 4 lg)
  • 1 lg starch

Servings: 6

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes



Wash the plums and cut them in half. Boil with 100 ml of water and sugar for 10 minutes (until soft). Mix the starch with a little plum syrup and boil for another 2 minutes.


Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, vanilla sugar and diced butter (cold). Mix until a crumbly composition is obtained.

Put 2/3 of the dough in a round tray, lined with baking paper, pressing well on the walls of the tray. Add the boiled plums and sprinkle the rest of the dough. Bake for about 30 minutes.
