Hello, my dear gourmets! Who remembers my cauliflower crust pizza recipe? Well, the preparation of this recipe is very similar to the recipe I show you today: cauliflower bars with cheese.
Because the recipe is very popular on the culinary blogs of those outside our country, it took me a while to find a suitable translation, "breadsticks" being the English name. The most appropriate translation I could find was "cauliflower bars" and that's what I stayed.
Leaving this aspect aside, I can tell you that it is a very tasty recipe, it is prepared very quickly, it is quite low in carbohydrates, it can be a snack / appetizer, a lunch or even a light dinner. I enjoyed these cauliflower bars with cheese in a good movie. They went great with the tomato sauce with garlic. I have to admit that I am a big fan of garlic and if I could, I would put garlic in any food. In addition, cheeses are one of my greatest culinary pleasures, so whenever I have the opportunity, I make a recipe in which I use cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, telemea, etc.

Wash and cut the cauliflower into smaller pieces. Grind it in a food processor until it takes the shape of a rice grain. Put the chopped cauliflower in a heat-resistant container (casserole) and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes.
Let the cauliflower cool for about 10-15 minutes, then put it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze as well as you can to remove all the liquid from it.
Put the liquid cauliflower in a large bowl, along with the 2 eggs, Parmesan cheese, 1 clove of crushed garlic, a little salt, pepper and oregano. Mix everything well. Place the resulting composition in a tray covered with baking sheet, flattening it by hand in a round or square shape.
Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 15 minutes. In the last 3-5 minutes, put the cheese on top and put the tray back in the oven to melt the cheese.
